So we’ve definitely had a consistent streak of warm sunny weather and I can’t help to be excited that summer has arrived! Lots of fresh colours have sprung up around the studio and with Trinity Bellwoods Park next door I can’t wait to enjoy some lunches lounging under a tree.

Below is a tasty tounge-in-cheek project called Sapore dei Mobili. A collaboration between Ryosuke Fukusada and Rui Pereira has created a waffle iron that allows you to crank out a furniture series for those weekend morning breakfasts. It’s certainly some mass production we can deal with. Yummy!

I have a very hard time with accessories being added as decor items, just for the sake of having something in a space….I recommend leaving negative space unless you have pieces that really speak to you. This Metropolis collection is a matte finish porcelain sculpture that I would have in my own home. Create your own city with these pastel beauties from Lladro.

Located in Vienna, Austria, Hotel Daniel wants to accommodate the modern traveller in a way that allows them to explore the city with more ease and offer inspiration to new opportunities.
