This year in conjunction with their annual Interior Design Show, Toronto launched their premier “International Design Festival”. Several venues around the city put together exhibits for industrial, interior, art and architecture! Lasting nearly a week the city came alive and played host to many celebrated industry leaders. We were especially excited about some of the Canadian talent that was present this year! Check out below for some of our favourites from the show.
Brothers Dressler – A Canadian company that we have watched for years continues to impress us with their latest school chairs that were saved and recreated. Also, be sure to check out some of their work in Ossington’s latest restaurant, Boehmer.

Shawn Place Designs – The handcrafted pieces by this British Columbia artist were a real hit…from the counterweighted head rest to the contemporary cane detail each of these chairs were beautiful in both their functionality and aesthetics.

Jamie Hayon – Spanish Designer of the century! Jamie Hayon surpassed all expectations from our firm with his amazing presentation at the show this year. Innovative, inspiring and certainly magical his site is definitely worth taking a look at!
